Disadvantages of hybrid cars

Though hybrid cars have many advantages it has some disadvantages too.But it should be noted that the advantages far exceed the disadvantages.Some disadvantages of hybrid cars are pointed bellow
1.High cost: hybrids cost anywhere from $2000 to $5000 more thier non-hybrid version.
2.More weight due to battery pack.
3.In the case of an unfortunate accident there is a possibility of exposure of high voltage wire.
4.Spare parts maybe hard to find and costly.
5.Generally hybrid cars have lower acceleration than their normal counterpart.
